Alodia Gosiengfiao - Philippines' Cosplay Queen

I'm not a cosplay addict nor a solid anime fan. I'm not into cosplay but I find it very interesting. I have friends who are really anime and cosplay fans. They even have their own costumes as well and they join cosplay events. I'd like to try it... but I have no time to produce a costume and I don't know what character I am going to portray.

Among those cosplayers, there is only one who I admire most - none other than Alodia Gosiengfiao. I don't know her personally, I have just seen her on TV and on some cosplay events - mostly on pictures and posters. She outstands the most for every cosplay event. She is indeed the Philippines' Cosplay Queen. She's very cute. ahahaha. I like her. (weeeeeeee!!! ^^,)

(above is a Tekken character). I'm not a Tekken gamer so I dont know the name of the character. ahaha)

I really love her look when she portayed Amane Misa (lead girl character on anime series/movie DEATHNOTE). As if she's the real Amane Misa!!! So pretty! wahahaah... I have nothing more to say. Looking on her pictures is stunning. lols.

Random facts

• - palibhasa bunso at 2 lang kami magkapatid, ako ang mejo spoiled "but not brat". ako ang mas maluho (minsan) at ako ang mejo "baby" sa bahay. isip bata in short (pag nasa bahay lang ah...) lols
• - may 5 akong unan. may maliit na stuffed pillow sa headboard ng higaan at may hotdog pillow (hahaha, dati pa yun nung hindi pa kami binaha ni ondoy... wala na ung hotdog pillow ko, pero 5 padin unan ko!!!)
• - consistent honor student ako nung elementary... nag li-low nung high school... mas naging petiks nung college. hahaha. (well, thats life, nabobobo din minsan! ahahaha)

• - at speaking of Camille Prats, si LAVINIA sa movie na "sarah ang munting princess" ay ka-batchmate ko sa work ngayon at talagang maldita sya! (nagresign din sya kasi hindi na-regular. may attitude problem eh ahaha) 
• - may form din ako ng Starstruck but i didn't pass it kasi tinamad akong magpapicture. hahahah... at nung nauso ang PBB, nagpunta lang kami sa harap ng bahay ni kuya para magpapicture...

• - mahiyain din ako minsan.  minsan lang. minsan lang din kumakapal mukha ko, so nuetral lang.
• mahilig ako sa food na may taba. pork adobo (may taba) BBQ (mas madaming taba) at sinigang na madaming taba! ahaha. any food will do basta hindi lamog ung taba. ahahaha
• kahit mahilig ako sa taba, di ako tumataba. payatot daw. ahaha.
• 29-30 ang waistline ko. gustuhin ko man tumaba ayaw talaga mangyari. di ko din alam kung highblood na ako. hindi ko alam symptoms eh or let's say, walang symptoms.
• ang pagkakaalam ko may pagka sira ulo. may pagka gago din. lahat ng negative na ugali meron din ako. ako un eh!

Hindi porke tayo ang writer at para sa atin ay walang kwenta ang mga nasusulat natin, I believe na sa mga taong nagbabasa ng bawat entry natin ay may mapupulot silang "matinong aral" kahit papaano. OO TAMA, MATINONG ARAL. Kahit na sabihin natin walang kwenta, non-sense at mga kagaguhan lang ang mga napagsasabi natin, para sa mga taong nagbabasa nun, alam kong alam nila kung paano i-adopt ang mga sarili nila sa mga ganung idea at realidad ng buhay. In short - hindi un non-sense. May kwenta un at dahil sa mga kagaguhang detalye sa mga blog natin, in return, our readers will surely know and will realize exactly the reason why we have written those blogs.

Negative thoughts

10am. Pagka login ko sa work, bukas agad ng email para gumawa ng kung ano-ano. Mejo naiba kasi station ko ngayon at nasa likod ko lang ang mga bossing namin, so ingat-ingat lang muna ako sa pagbrowse. mahirap na magkaroon ng incident report. lols. Kaya eto lang muna ang naiisip kong way para kahit papaano mabawasan ang boredom ko dito sa office. Inaantok pa nga ako eh. natulog naman ako ng maaga right after ng Imortal. Hindi nga lang ako nakatulog ng matino, ewan ko kung sino ang nag-iisip saakin gabi-gabi na lang kung kaya hirap akong makatulog. heheheh... (gumaganun pa eh noh?!)

Well, kahapon kasi may nagsabi sa akin na negative thinker daw ako. Oo I supposed. I believe naman na hindi maiiwasan un eh. Minsan lang naman ako mag-sip ng kung anong negative sa buhay ko. May mga times na kelangan kong gawin to be more prepared if ever man na pumalpak ang "positive" plans ko. Back-up lang ba. For me, that would be better because you could have many options...

Hindi naman masama ang maging negative thinker. Tao lang naman ako, nagkakamali din. And as a part of those mistakes that I've done before (and maybe in the future din), It'll be ok. Atleast hindi na ako surprised na nangyari nga o mangyayari pa lang un. Mejo mahirap at magulo para sakin na iexplain to ngayon, (kasi nasa work ako. maraming disturbances. ahahaha... hirap mag multi-task)

Basta ayun, nakakaasar lang kasi ung ibang tao na kapag dumating sila sa moment na pumalpak sila, ang lakas ng loob nila magreklamo and the worst is, they will blame other people or other things. Kung para sa akin ay hinanda ko na ang sarili ko sa ganung eksena, bale-wala na lang un sakin kasi nga prepared na ako. And I don't need to blame other people except for myself....

May mga times na sa sobrang excited tayo sa isang bagay, ang laking disappointment na lang ang mararamdaman natin kung biglang hindi natuloy un, or hindi mo nakuha ung bagay na yun. So if ever man hindi nga un natuloy, wala na akong magagawa dun. I guess I have to move on or maybe I need to look for something na mas better dun.

Excited??? Emo-much??? Mixed emotions perhaps...

2 weeks na lang at birthday ko na. Hindi naman ako excited tuwing birthday ko. Although, it is just a normal day for me. Wala namang bonggang handa, konting salo-salo lang with family okay na. Kung may konting ipon para makapag-celebrate with friends sa labas, edi mas maganda. ahaha...


Hindi ko pinagkakalat na malapit na birthday ko sa mga friends at sa co-workers ko. Ayokong mag-expect sila kasi ng "libre". Alam naman nating lahat na kapag may birthday, hindi maiiwasan na tanungin ka kung anong ililibre mo sa kanila. Edi isasagot ko, "ako nga dapat ilibre nyo eh" ahahaha...


I'll let them na i-greet nila ako ng kusa. For me kasi, iba ang feeling kapag may taong nakakaalala na birthday mo nga talaga sa araw na yun. Surprised ka na lang kasi hindi mo expected na may nakakaalala pa pala sa birthday mo.At mas ayoko naman pilitin sila at sabihin na "hoy, bday ko, hindi mo ako babatiin??" ahahaha.. parang siga at adik lang ang dating noh. nakakatawa.


Hindi ako emo or nagmamala-emo. I guess, it's a part of maturity in life. As we grow older, we would definitely realize how important our friends are and we would definitely value those simple things that they bring to us. Hindi na ako bata para magtampo kung hindi man nila ako magi-greet sa mismong bday ko. Hindi ko din naman nababati ung ibang friends ko eh, so kwits lang. At hindi din naman talaga ako nagpapabati. Ang sa akin lang, kung sino ang makaalala.... maraming salamat sa kanya....

Modernong Mapa

Masyadong kalat ang mga t-shrit na may Philippine map embroidered. Marami na din ang taong may suot-suot nun. May authentic at branded na tshirt, meron din masabing may “map lang” ok na. Sa sobrang dami ng may ganon, parang ayoko ng makadagdag pa. At sa totoo lang, nababaduyan ako sa mga designs ng mga tshirt na un. ahahaha. 

Kaya eto, para maiba naman. I bought this sa ADIDAS. I am not saying na gusto kong ipakita ang pagiging makabayan ko, pero binili ko to dahil wala lang. Gusto ko lang ung design nya. Kakaiba. Unique. Di tulad ng mga nagkakalat na tshirt na nasa kaliwang dibdib lang ng damit ung embroidered na map. Eto, nasa likod, at ang super laki nya!

At hindi lang sya basta-basta mapa lang ng Pilipinas, but the map is actually designed or formed by those ADIDAS shoes. tama, SAPATOS!

(kung iyong makikita, sa kaliwa ay ang buong Philippin map. sa kanan ay ang Luzon. obvious naman siguro na puro adidas shoes ang makikita. astig!)

At dahil dito, masasabi kong maipapakita ko ang pagiging makabayan ko, di lang sa simpleng pagsuot ng mga tshirt na may mapa, kundi panahon na din para pagsabayin ang modern fashion at ang pagiging Pilipino ko.

Bonus!!! Bonus!!!

Finally, we've received a memo regarding our much-awaited 13th month pay. wooooh! This is it! ahaha. Ang tagal kong hinintay to at this is the first time na I will be receiving my 13th month na kumpleto. Unlike last year kasi, kakaregular ko nun at hinati pa ang 13th month into 2-paydays kasi dahil kay Bagyong Ondoy. (ewan ko lang sa otehr company, but samin hinati sya dahil dahil kay Ondoy)


Anyways, nakalista na sakin ang mga dapat na gastusin at bilhin ko sa pera na to. ahaha. Syempre LUHO ko. as in LUHO lang... 75% of my 13th month ay para sakin, and the rest ay syempre ibibigay ko sa parents ko para panggastos sa Christmas. I admit, magastos talaga ang December - birthday ko, Christmas party dito, Christmas party doon... New year, mga fireworks sa new year, mga food na ihahanda.. etc. hirap magtipid pag December. ahaha...

Computation Basis:  The 13th Month Pay is based on your latest base pay as of November 15, 2010.  It is equivalent to a full month’s pay if you have rendered service, and will work, the full calendar year.  Those who have rendered service for less than a full calendar year will be paid on a pro-rated basis depending on the total amount of basic salary earned in the year divided by 12 months.

Taxability:  Accumulated bonuses and cash incentives (such as 13th Month Pay, referral bonus, client incentives, AVP/SVP, MIP/TRP, and other bonuses or incentives) will be subject to applicable tax rates in excess of PHP30,000.  Please check your online pay slip via Employee Self Service under Year to Date Balances to see the breakdown of your taxable and non-taxable bonuses.

Base Pay Changes after November 15, 2010:  Salary adjustments made after November 15, 2010, will have a corresponding pro-rated 13th Month Pay adjustment, which will be paid on the January 25, 2011, payroll.

Separations after November 23, 2010:   Employees who are no longer connected with TeleTech after receiving their 13th Month Pay on November 26, 2010, will be deducted an amount from their final pay in proportion to the number of working days un-served until December 31, 2010.

Ang sabi, November daw ang labas ng 8th book ni bob ong. Everytime na nagpupunta ako ng mall, nagpupunta ako sa mga bookstores pero wala namang bagong book si Bob Ong. I asked ung mga nag-aassist dun, sabi nila hindi daw nila alam kung kelan. ano ba yan, matatapos na ang November wala pa din. Hindi mo tuloy alam kung joke lang ba un eh... haaayyy

Shalani on TV5

Kahapon sa show ni Willie sa TV5, totoo nga pala ang rumored co-host nya na si Shalani. Akala ko rumor lang talaga pero she was there hosting it live. Nakakapagtaka lang kasi, ang taong walang background sa showbiz ay biglang naging host ng isang game show. Ang tao din na inakala ng marami ng parang mahiyain ay pinipilit na mai-adopt ang kanyang sarili sa sigawan at happiness ng crowd na tagasuporta ng nasabing show. Me, personally, I am not a fan or I haven't even watched the show. It was just so surprisingly, my family watched it yesterday just to see if the rumor is true... and yes it was.

Syempre sa una, halatang nangangapa pa si Shalani sa hosting nya. The way she talks and speaks is not really for a hosting-type compared to those co-hosted the show before - Mariel, Pokwang and Valerie. It was like for me, I guess, it could have been compared similar to "wish ko lang" and alike. No offense to her but that's the field wherein she can share her capability as a public and community figure.

Another thing I've noticed on the way she delivered the questions is like she is doing a "quiz bee" type of questioning. Masyadong formal. Sabagay, kagalang-galang naman sya at napaka formal. But it is a game and fun show though, so I think and I hope she could have build more confidence and could have improved more on hosting. It was just her first day anyway. More power to you Shalani and for the show! ^^,

Ms. Philippines International 2010 won two awards

Philippine candidate Krista Kleiner takes home two special awards during the most recent Miss International Pageant held in Chengdu, China. The two awards she got are the Miss Talent and Miss Expressive Awards. And she even made it to the Top 15.

Anong lasa ng chocolate pag expired na?

may nakatago palang black chocolate sa ref. itinago ko un para di makita ng iba. pero ang alam ko, last April ko pa un tinago at ngayon ko lang naalala at ngayon ko lang din nakita. pagtingin ko sa expiration date, August ang nakalagay. 2010. wahahahaha. In good condition pa naman sya. matigas pa din kasi nasa ref. Di ko naman sya nakain ngayon kasi gabi ko na nakita. Baka next week ko na lang sya kakainin pag hindi ako busy. ahahha… 


ung white naman, 2011 pa naman, so matagal tagal pa kaming magsasama. hahaha. adik lang eh.

Hindi na bago ang salitang ito. As I can still remember, I started blogging when I was in my Freshmen days at PUP. Even before na hindi pa uso ang "internet" ay may blog na ako. For me, my blog and my "diary" when I was a highschool student is the same. I had my diary before. Yung tipong nakasulat sa kung saan-saan - sa scratch paper, sa mga singit-singit ng notebook at madami pang iba. Hindi ko na alam kung nasaan na ang mga piraso ng papel na yun dahil nawala na sya after ng trahedyang dulot ni Ondoy. Pero gayunpaman, alam na alam ko kung ano ang mga experiences ko nung araw. Tandang-tanda ko pa ang nakaraan. Ito ang maganda sa paggawa ng isang "diary" or "blog". It is like a copy of your memories.


Tulad ng sinabi ko, hindi na bago ang blog sa akin. My blogs are:


1. Blogspot/Blogger na more on personal blog. Yung tipong walang nakakaalam kahit na close friend or any family members na may blogger account ako. Sa akin lang to. I can post  what I really want to post depende sa mood at kung ano man ang naiisip ko. Like what I've said, this is more on "personal" things, and obviously the blog title itself - My Replica; it shows the real thoughts of myself - the real ME. The other side of my personality.


2. Tumblr. I've created a Tumblr blog because of my addiction in KPOP. In tumblr, maraming kpop adiks dun. So para makisabay at maki-share sa co-kpop fans ko, I've created a tumblr blog.... But, my Tumblr is not just purely focusing on kpop things.. I can re-blog some ideas posted by my followers and those I am following. May mga personal insights din ako sa tumblr but unlike here in blogger, may mga friends akong napa-follow sa sakin sa tumblr. So, any thing na mapost ko ay pwedeng pagsimulan ng intriga and misunderstandings.


3. Friendster blog. That was my first blog site. Of course uso pa FS nun kasi wala pang FB. Updated din un lagi but now, the account is still active and I am not visiting it anymore. Never ko na-open yun for almost a year na ata....


4. Facebook. OO tama. I consider my facebook a blogsite (somehow) just to update my status, post pics to my album. There are times na kung ano ang ipopost ko sa FB, I'll post it as well sa tumblr at dito sa blogger - pero depende sa kung ano ang gusto kong i-share at i-post.


5. Twitter. I consider this as blog site (for myself) kasi ang twitter ko ay naka-link sa tumblr ko. Whatever I post in Tumblr, I can link it to my Twitter. I really seldom open my twitter. Ewan ko ba pero di ako natutuwa sa twitter. Limited characters lang kasi, kaya tama lang na i-link ko sya sa tumblr ko. hehe... 




I had a long hiatus here in blogger. New blogger lang ako dito. Bilang na bilang ang posts ko. Ok lang, alam ko naman na mahaba pa ang pagkakataon. There is one common thing sa mga nasabi kong blogs. All of them has a blog title "My REPLICA" of just "REPLICA" except sa facebook ko. Ayoko na kasing gumamit ng ibang title. Ok na sakin un. The title describes the whole blog itself. Dun ako nakilala ng iba (kung may nakakakilala man sakin) and I will going to use it as long as I am blogging.
