Bonus!!! Bonus!!!

Finally, we've received a memo regarding our much-awaited 13th month pay. wooooh! This is it! ahaha. Ang tagal kong hinintay to at this is the first time na I will be receiving my 13th month na kumpleto. Unlike last year kasi, kakaregular ko nun at hinati pa ang 13th month into 2-paydays kasi dahil kay Bagyong Ondoy. (ewan ko lang sa otehr company, but samin hinati sya dahil dahil kay Ondoy)


Anyways, nakalista na sakin ang mga dapat na gastusin at bilhin ko sa pera na to. ahaha. Syempre LUHO ko. as in LUHO lang... 75% of my 13th month ay para sakin, and the rest ay syempre ibibigay ko sa parents ko para panggastos sa Christmas. I admit, magastos talaga ang December - birthday ko, Christmas party dito, Christmas party doon... New year, mga fireworks sa new year, mga food na ihahanda.. etc. hirap magtipid pag December. ahaha...


Eto ang details sa Memo sa company namin. Di ko na sasabihin ang name ng company, and the details here are mainly applicable only to our company's policy and whatever. ahaha.. Share ko lang. ^^

Eligibility:  Based on Philippine labor law, employees who have worked for the company for at least one month are entitled to receive a pro-rated 13th Month Pay.


  • ·         Employees who were hired on or before November 1, 2010, will receive their pro-rated 13th Month Pay on November 26, 2010. 
  • ·         The pro-rated 13th Month Pay will be given on January 25, 2011, for those who were hired after November 1, 2010, and have worked for at least one month.


Payout Details:  The 13th Month Pay will be credited to your BPI Payroll ATM account on November 26, 2010. 

Computation Basis:  The 13th Month Pay is based on your latest base pay as of November 15, 2010.  It is equivalent to a full month’s pay if you have rendered service, and will work, the full calendar year.  Those who have rendered service for less than a full calendar year will be paid on a pro-rated basis depending on the total amount of basic salary earned in the year divided by 12 months.

Taxability:  Accumulated bonuses and cash incentives (such as 13th Month Pay, referral bonus, client incentives, AVP/SVP, MIP/TRP, and other bonuses or incentives) will be subject to applicable tax rates in excess of PHP30,000.  Please check your online pay slip via Employee Self Service under Year to Date Balances to see the breakdown of your taxable and non-taxable bonuses.

Base Pay Changes after November 15, 2010:  Salary adjustments made after November 15, 2010, will have a corresponding pro-rated 13th Month Pay adjustment, which will be paid on the January 25, 2011, payroll.

Separations after November 23, 2010:   Employees who are no longer connected with TeleTech after receiving their 13th Month Pay on November 26, 2010, will be deducted an amount from their final pay in proportion to the number of working days un-served until December 31, 2010.
